Dermal Fillers
Restore volume, refine contours, and keep the result natural.
Restoring what time gradually changes
As we age, the face loses volume, support, and definition. Cheeks flatten, shadows deepen, and contours soften. Dermal fillers restore that lost support, helping the face look refreshed and balanced without changing what makes it yours.
The aim is not to make the face look different. It is to restore proportion, improve harmony, and create a natural result that fits your features.
Dermal fillers are used to restore volume, improve structure, and refine facial balance. Common treatment areas include:
• Cheeks
• Lips
• Chin
• Jawline
• Tear troughs
• Nasolabial folds
• Marionette lines
What suits you is decided together at your consultation.
Where fillers can help
Is this right for you
You may be a good candidate if you:
• Would like to restore volume that has been lost with age
• Would like more definition in areas such as the cheeks, jawline, or chin
• Would like to improve facial balance and proportion
• Prefer a non-surgical treatment with little downtime
The best results come from respecting your natural anatomy. At your consultation, Dr. Husain assesses your face as a whole and recommends only what will improve balance and harmony.
Tailored to your features
Treatment usually takes around thirty minutes. After assessing your face and discussing your goals, filler is placed precisely in the areas selected. A numbing agent is included within most fillers, making treatment very comfortable. You can usually return to normal activities immediately afterwards.
Simple aftercare for the best result
There is little to no downtime. For the first day, avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, and hot tubs, and try not to press or massage the treated areas so the filler settles where it was placed. Some swelling, tenderness, or small bruises are normal in the first few days, particularly with lip treatment, and settle on their own. The final result is usually seen at around two weeks once swelling has resolved.
Natural results that last
Results are visible immediately and settle into their final, natural look over about two weeks. How long they last depends on the area and the product, but as a guide, most hyaluronic acid filler is gradually reabsorbed over one to two years. Results often build over time, too. With repeated treatment some volume is maintained, so many patients find they need less at each visit.
-
Not when filler is used with restraint. The aim is always less is more, restoring lost volume or gently enhancing a feature so the result looks like you, not like filler. An overfilled look comes from too much product, and it is exactly what careful, conservative treatment avoids.
-
Yes, and it is one of the reassuring things about hyaluronic acid fillers. If there is an aspect of the result you are not happy with, or the filler settles somewhere you would rather it had not, it can be dissolved with an injection that breaks it down. You are never committed to a result you do not like.
-
Most people find it very tolerable. The filler contains a local anaesthetic, and numbing cream can be applied beforehand. You may feel a small pinch or pressure, and lips can be a little more sensitive, but the treatment is quick and comfortable.
Frequently Asked Questions

Most people describe the injections as a quick pinch. The treatment is very well tolerated and takes only a few minutes.

A little swelling is normal, particularly in the lips, and usually settles within a few days. Small bruises can occur too and fade naturally. Most people return to normal activities immediately.
-
Yes, and they often are. Fillers restore volume and support, while Botox softens the muscle movement that creates lines. Together they address different aspects of facial ageing and often give a more balanced result than either treatment alone.
