Rhinoplasty

Natural results that reflect your identity and your ability to breathe.

A nose that complements your face, and works the way it should

The nose sits at the centre of the face, and small changes can have a meaningful effect on overall harmony. Patients often come to rhinoplasty for more than one reason: a dorsal hump, a droopy or under-defined tip, a deviation present since childhood or following an injury, or a longstanding difficulty breathing. Many have considered surgery for years.

A well-performed rhinoplasty addresses both how the nose looks and how it functions, producing results that are natural, work well, and are genuinely your own. For many patients, the result is not only an aesthetic refinement, but a quiet, lasting boost in confidence.

Surgery that refines, not transforms

Rhinoplasty is the surgical reshaping of the nose. It can be performed using an open approach, with a small, well-hidden incision at the base of the nose, or a closed approach, with incisions placed entirely inside the nose. Dr. Husain selects the approach based on examination findings and the goals of surgery.

A rhinoplasty can address:

  • A droopy, bulbous, or under-defined tip

  • A crooked or deviated nose, present from childhood or following an injury

  • Difficulty breathing through the nose

  • Unsatisfactory results from previous nasal filler or unsuccessful rhinoplasty

Is rhinoplasty right for you?

Rhinoplasty may be right for you if:

• You are bothered by a dorsal hump, a droopy or under-defined tip, or a crooked nose
• You have difficulty breathing through your nose
• You are unhappy with the result of previous nasal filler or a previous rhinoplasty
• You are in good general health, and your facial growth is complete

The right approach depends on the patient’s anatomy, the changes required, and discussion at consultation.

Preservation rhinoplasty is a modern, advanced approach that preserves the natural structures of the nose rather than rebuilding them. In suitable patients it delivers natural results with accelerated healing.

Structural rhinoplasty is the classic, tried and proven technique, selected when more significant reshaping is required.

Revision rhinoplasty often requires the nasal framework to be rebuilt with structural techniques, using cartilage from the rib, or in some cases the ear or septum.

Across all approaches, Dr. Husain uses ultrasonic (piezo) instruments to reshape the nasal bones with precision, reducing swelling and bruising compared to conventional chisels and rasps.

Form and function are addressed together. Where breathing is affected, the underlying cause is corrected as part of the same procedure.

Every operation is performed in its entirety by Dr. Husain, in a fully accredited operating room with a board-certified anaesthesiologist.

A measured return to daily life

External splints and sutures are removed at one week. Nasal taping continues at night only for a further two to three weeks.

Most patients return to work and social life at around two weeks. Cardiovascular exercise and the gym resume at one month.

Dr. Husain’s use of advanced technologies, including ultrasonic piezo instruments and preservation of the natural nasal anatomy, supports faster healing and a quicker return to daily life.

Results that settle naturally over time

Results emerge gradually as the tissues settle. With preservation techniques, the timeline is faster than with structural rhinoplasty:

Over 50% of the result is visible by the end of the first month

70–80% by three months

Final result at one to two years, with the tip taking longest to refine

The goal is never to give every patient the same nose. It is to refine the nose you have, preserving its character and your identity, so that it sits in balance with the rest of your face.

Patients often describe the result not as a different nose, but as the nose they always wanted, one that better fits their face.
