Breast Lift with Implants

Lift and fullness restored together, in a single procedure.

When the breasts have both dropped and lost their fullness

After pregnancy, breastfeeding, or significant weight loss, many women notice two changes at once. The breast sits lower than it once did, and it has lost its fullness, particularly in the upper half. In these cases, a lift alone can leave the breast looking deflated, while an implant alone cannot correct the drop. A breast lift with implants addresses both at the same time, restoring position, shape, and volume together.

Dr. Husain’s goal is always a lifted, full, natural result that suits your body and lasts.

This procedure combines two operations in one. The lift removes stretched, excess skin, reshapes and supports the breast tissue, and raises the nipple and areola to a more youthful position. The implant then restores the fullness the breast has lost, particularly in the upper half.

For women who prefer a softer, more modest fullness, we can instead use fat transfer, using your own fat to restore volume. The differences between the two are explained below, and the choice is made together at your consultation.

Dr. Husain performs this as a single operation for most patients. In selected cases, such as after massive weight loss or in revision surgery, he may recommend staging the lift and the volume as two separate procedures, where this is the safer and more reliable path to the best result.

One procedure, restoring shape and volume together

Is a breast lift with implants right for you?

A breast lift with implants may be right for you if:

• Your breasts have dropped and lost volume

• The upper part of the breast looks empty or deflated

• Your nipple sits lower than it used to, or points downward

• You have lost breast fullness after weight loss

• You would like both a lifted shape and a fuller look, with implants or your own fat

• You are in good general health

If your concern is position alone, a breast lift by itself may be all you need. If it is volume alone, breast augmentation may be the answer. Dr. Husain will examine you and recommend what genuinely suits you at your consultation.

A lifted shape designed to hold, with fullness that suits your frame

A doctor wearing glasses, with dark hair and a beard, is talking to a woman with wavy light brown hair in a black top. The doctor has a white shirt and is sitting at a table with a plastic model of a human eye. They are in a medical or educational setting.

Dr. Husain’s philosophy for this procedure is that the lift does the shaping, and the implant simply restores fullness. Because the lift itself rebuilds much of the breast’s shape and volume, a smaller implant is usually all that is needed. This keeps the result soft, natural, and in proportion with your body, and helps it last.

Where it would refine the result further, Dr. Husain combines the procedure with gentle liposuction and fat grafting in the same session. The fat can soften the edges of the result, balance any asymmetry between the breasts, and contour the area around the breast, often allowing an even smaller implant to be used. This is optional, though often recommended.

For some women, fat replaces the implant entirely. Dr. Husain layers your own fat in a way that mimics the look and feel of a small implant, giving a softer overall result. It is important to understand the difference: fat typically increases the breast by one to two cup sizes and cannot create the upper pole fullness an implant gives, while implants offer more flexibility in size. For the right patient, it is a beautiful, fully natural option.

To help the lifted shape hold over time, Dr. Husain uses advanced internal support techniques where appropriate, including an internal support, sometimes called an “internal bra”. These are particularly valuable after weight loss, where the tissue is weaker, or when a larger implant is used.

Every procedure is performed in its entirety by Dr. Husain, in a fully accredited operating room with a board-certified anaesthesiologist.

A well-supported recovery

Most patients experience swelling and bruising during the first one to two weeks. The majority feel comfortable returning to social activities after this initial recovery period, although subtle improvements continue for several months.

Strenuous exercise is usually avoided for approximately four to six weeks, depending on the extent of surgery and the pace of healing.

Dr. Husain provides detailed postoperative guidance and follows patients closely throughout recovery to help ensure a smooth healing process and optimal outcome.

Lifted, full, and built to last

The result is a breast that is lifted, fuller, and naturally shaped, restored to where it once was, with the fullness it once had.

Because the lift does the shaping and the added volume stays modest, the result looks and feels natural and holds its shape over time.

The lift itself typically lasts many years, often ten to fifteen or longer, helped by the internal support techniques Dr. Husain uses. Modern implants are durable and long lasting, and where fat is used, the volume is your own tissue and lasts, rising and falling gently with your weight. Maintaining a stable weight and good support preserves the result.
